Quick Update: No Sunday worship services, Bible studies or church activities until further notice.

Dear Fellowship Capital City Family,

I want to update you on what’s happening at Cap City in light of the coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak. Please read through this entire email as it contains detailed plans for keeping our church safe and how you can help.

In accordance with the new recommendations from the CDC and the State of New Jersey,  Fellowship Capital City will stop gathering for Sunday worship and in small groups for the time being. This is the prudent course of action to protect our church body from the coronavirus and honor the elected officials God has placed over us.

If you or someone you know tests positive for COVID-19, please let us know so we can find a way to help, pray for everyone involved, and take any necessary precautions here at Cap City.

We Are Here For You

If you need assistance—groceries, prescriptions, etc.—we are here to help. Please communicate with your flock leader, small group leaders, or email us at info@FellowshipCapitalCity.org and we will be in touch. If you are available to assist in serving the congregation, please let us know.

Staying Connected

We will leverage the technology available to us to remain connected as a church body. Keep an eye out for updates via email, video, and social media as well as new episodes of The Table and other resources. Small group leaders will be in touch with their groups.

How Can I Help?

Three ways:

1.     Pray – Pray for those impacted by the virus, as well as their families and loved ones.

2.     Give – As a ministry, we are primarily supported through tithing. Please take advantage of our online giving options on our website or app. Click here.

3.     Serve – Look for opportunities to serve those in your neighborhood. Times of uncertainty create more opportunities to speak the truth and bring hope to a hopeless world. Consider offering to drop off groceries or pick up necessary supplies. Desiring God has a helpful article to read as you pray through opportunities to assist those in need: https://bit.ly/2x3uo6I

We must also remember the truths of Psalm 46: God is our refuge and strength and we will not fear though the earth gives way. The Lord of hosts is with us, and He is our fortress.

In Christ,

Pastor Brennan
